Betrayed by his brother-in-law, Kekuamanoha, Kahahana is killed.

A conspiracy and revolt against Kahekili on O`ahu, called Waipio-Kimopo, is suppressed.

Kamehameha and Keoua Kuahu`ula battle. There is only desultory fighting with similar result. Kamehameha returns to Kohala. This war is called "Hapu`u."
